Michael Cebulka DDS - Your Troy Ohio Dentist
Dr. Michael Cebulka was raised in Urbana, OH. He is a dentist who is passionate about education and has completed The Dawson Academy Core Curriculum Mini-Residency, a rigorous program that focuses on comprehensive dental care, esthetics, and TMJ therapy. Less than 10% of dentists in the nation have completed this program. Dr. Cebulka is also a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Dayton Dental Society. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and became a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), achieving a goal he set for himself as a teenager during his time at Urbana High School, where he graduated third in his class. He continued to be a high achiever at Miami University earning Cum Laude honors with a Bachelors of Arts in Zoology and a Management minor. Dr. Cebulka’s passion for dentistry was sparked when he experienced its ability to transform his self-esteem, upon getting his braces off in high school. Ever since then, he dreamed of providing this transformative power to others through improving their smiles and dental health. Dr. Cebulka enjoys the daily challenge dentistry presents, since every patient is different and has unique needs. He finds this variety very intriguing, as he wants to work with patients to come up with treatment plans that are personalized to his patient’s oral health wants, needs, and goals.
Dr. Cebulka is the epitome of a "people person" with a heart of gold. He loves contributing to something that is bigger than himself. His volunteer background includes coaching a basketball team through North Suburban Special Olympics, fundraising and traveling with Build America (traveled to six cities in six weeks to interact with campers and build accessible amenities at summer camps for people with disabilities), serving as a summer camp counselor, participating in a dental clinic that provided free dental care on a weekend, volunteering at a local nursing home, and serving on a dental mission trip in Jamaica. Dr. Cebulka's extensive experience working with children, people with disabilities, and the elderly allow him to empathize with patients of all backgrounds.
Dr. Cebulka has been a part of a team since the age of five, playing baseball and basketball through high school as well as intramurals at Miami and Marquette. Dr. Cebulka's volunteer experience and leadership skills have set him up for success to make a positive impact on our team, patients, and community. Dr. Cebulka looks forward to becoming an active leader in the Troy community, by applying the skills that he has fostered through his extensive experience as being a member of a team and his volunteer work as a servant leader.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cebulka enjoys staying active, traveling, being outdoors, trying new foods, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful fit for our patients and the team here at Comprehensive Dentistry of Troy!
